Blended Teaching & Learning

Blended (or hybrid) instruction combines and integrates web-based online approaches with face-to-face, classroom learning.  

A blended syllabus describes instruction in terms of outcomes – and not the number of hours a student spends each week in lecture, labs or section discussions. The pedagogical challenge – and blended instruction encourages this - is to describe, measure and express what students learn as student learning outcomes.  This online guide will step you through a process to help you redesign your course syllabus.
